In addition to stores and facilities such as a home center and a post office, boxes are also installed at town government buildings and community halls, and a distinguishing feature is that they are distributed in a balanced way across both the Ogata and Saga areas.
The size of the opening is standardized at 40 cm by 20 cm across all of them, and the guidance explains that larger items that do not fit should be brought directly to the counter of the Environmental Policy Office (weekdays, 8:30 to 17:15). The four major home appliances, large items such as electric massage chairs and electric carpets, items containing personal information, and equipment for business use are not eligible for collection. The boxes at the town hall main office and the Saga Branch Office can be used only during the government buildings' opening hours (weekdays, 8:30 to 17:15).
