In-store collection of used cooking oil (4 Co-op stores)
According to the list of participating in-store collection outlets published on the Naha City official website, used cooking oil is collected in store at four Co-op outlets: Co-op Apple Town, Co-op Oroku, Co-op Samukawa, and Co-op Shuri. Eligibility is limited to used cooking oil from households; used cooking oil from businesses is not accepted.
In-store collection of small rechargeable batteries (Bic Camera)
Bic Camera Select Naha Kokusai-dori collects used small rechargeable batteries bearing the nickel-cadmium, nickel-metal hydride, or lithium-ion recycling mark in store, free of charge. Eligible items are the rechargeable batteries used in mobile phones and smartphones, power banks, digital cameras, laptop computers, power tools, electrically power-assisted bicycles, and similar devices, and no purchase is required. On the other hand, battery packs that are damaged, deformed, or swollen, individual cells removed from a battery pack, water-damaged battery packs, and non-genuine batteries are stated to be outside the scope of collection, as are dry-cell batteries, button batteries, and swollen power bank units themselves.
In-store collection of clothing (MUJI Ameku)
At MUJI Ameku, the ReMUJI resource collection service collects clothing, skincare PET bottles, paper hangers, hooks, and towels in store, free of charge. For clothing, all garments sold by MUJI are eligible, while fashion accessories such as underwear, socks, shoes, bags, and hats are not. If you speak to a staff member when you bring items in, MUJI GOOD PROGRAM members may be awarded points once per day. Because the items collected differ by store, other stores may not handle the same items.

Note that the four item categories covered by the Home Appliance Recycling Act (家電リサイクル法) — air conditioners, televisions, refrigerators and freezers, and washing machines and clothes dryers — cannot be handled at the collection points introduced here.
